1. Coconut Oil - €3-€5 (Available in most supermarkets or amazon)
This has definitely been my favourite of my weekly faves this week! I have been using this bad boy (or good boy?) to cleanse my face every morning and evening. I decided I want to up my game with my skincare so firstly I wanted to get it back to basics. This is pure coconut oil, organic with no weird ingredients. Yes, this jar was probably intended to be used for cooking but I bought it specifically for my skin. This is the most soothing oil I have used yet. It melts into the skin instantly and afterwards leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. It even still feels like that the next morning when I wake up! Without the greasey feel. I want to continue cleansing my skin with this and then build up the perfect skincare routine adding more natural ingredients and hopefully some kind of hyper-pigmentation correcting serum/cream. I'll keep you updated!
2. Barry M Hi-Shine Jelly Nail Paint - Papaya €5.99 (Available from Boots)
I've actually already done an entire blog post on this nail varnish this week and included a picture of what it's like on the nails so I won't harp on about it too much. This is just the nail varnish I have been loving this week, the weather has been rather crappy here so this bright shade is my way of keeping me feeling summery! If you want to hear more about what I think of the formula of these nail polishes then you can check out my previous blog post.
3. NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil - Fuschia £3.50 (ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/nyx-jumbo-lip-pencil)
I've actually had this lip product for agggggeees now but I always forget about lip products and then rediscover them. This is the perfect rosy pink colour and it's more the formula that I love so much. It's like a lip balm and lipstick all in one. It's so creamy on the lips and leaves a lovely sheen - a little bit more 'sheeney' than a MAC cremesheen. Unfortunately these lip pencils aren't available in Ireland, my sister actually brought this one back for me from Canada. I'm already planning on restocking this gem as soon as I get to the states in a few weeks.
4. FACES Cosmetics Eyeshadow - ES 48 $10 (available from: http://www.faces-cosmetics.com/)
Side by side this eye-shadow actually looks very similar to the lip pencil - perhaps this is why I feel these two compliment each other wonderfully! I've been loving blending this all over the lid and then using a golden brown shade in the crease and outter 'V'. this looks so great on brown eyes in my opinion and it's all I've been wearing on my eyes. Teamed with a dark matte brown for a soft liner look and I've been good to go.
5. Essence Highlighting Powder - Prettylicious €3 (approx) (Available from most major pharmacys, Dunnes & Penneys, Website - http://www.essence.eu/essenceworld/index.php)
Once you get over the tack-tastic name of this highlighter - prettylicious? it's a really cool product. It's super pigmented so I definitely have to use a light hand with it but when used correctly it gives a gorgeous glow to my cheeks. During the day I literally use the tiniest bit of this at the top of my cheekbones for a sheen but at night you can build it up to be a super intense shimmer highlight. It's so affordable too! I don't know how I ever forgot about this product.
So that's it for this week, make sure to check back next Sunday for another weekly loves post! If you want to see exactly what and when I'm posting then make sure to follow me on instagram and twitter. All my links are below, thanks for stopping by!
