Una Brennan Super Facialist Vitmain C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil Review

Today I thought I would do a review of a beauty item I have been using for over 4 months now. I want to mix it up on my blog and keep doing different posts, it's more fun to write! I have spoken about this product before on my youtube channel and it actually featured in my January Favourites I believe so I have been using it for quite a while and feel like I can give an accurate review.

(P.s word of warning.. do not let your dog at this product - mine chewed the cap as you can see!)

Cost:
Firstly, I must say that this is such a luxurious product for the small price tag. I bought this for €7 at the time - I believe it was on offer but it usually retails for €13.19 (and its on offer at the moment in most boots stores for €9.59). Being an oil, it has lasted me soooo long and I still have over half the bottle left - you don't need to use much at all. This also makes it so affordable as you know it's gonna' last you a long time.

Feel on the skin & Method:
You massage into your skin when it's dry - I like to lash on quite a bit to get that super smooth oily feel - and then when you feel you have massaged it in enough you cleanse your face with warm water. Nothing leaves my skin as soft as this. It's not like using a regular cleanser when you get that tight feeling on your face afterwards. On the back of the bottle it says "feels like you've had a facial every time" and I would have to agree. Also I find that applying my makeup is so much smoother after using this product.

Effect:
As I mentioned, it leaves my skin super smooth - like I've just had a facial but it has also really improved the appearance of my skin. I can't say for sure that this product has cleared up my breakouts - which have subsided for the past few months. This could be the combination of my entire skincare routine but I haven't had a bad breakout in about four months and it makes me so happy. I stopped having them when I began using this product as well as my Clinique cleansing balm. However, I can definitely say this product has actually brightened my skin. From years of breakouts I have little spot scars and red marks where spots once were left on my skin that used to really bother me. This oil has brightened them considerably and I no longer feel as self conscious going bare-faced.

Overall:
To conclude this rather lengthy review, I would recommend this to anyone in search of a budget friendly cleansing oil that really makes a difference. I think Una Brennan really is a luxury brand at a great price. One thing I should note is that this product smells very strongly of oranges! A scent that I personally love - it's so refreshing and fruity. But of course if you aren't a fan of that smell this product might be too overpowering for you. I literally don't have a bad word to say about this cleansing oil though so give it a go and let me know what you think.

Love, Kensey
