PS Love Lip Liner Review

Hello again, long time no chat. I know, I'm not very reliable on here! Which is something I want to change. I really love this little space of the internet that I can call my own but I find life just so busy and of course the blog ends up taking a back seat. I've recently started taking my youtube more seriously and uploading regularly and wanted to show my blog as much love too. So here goes. I Kensey Cowley am making a promise - a sort of personal contract if you will - to post two blog posts every single week. Yep that's right I said every week. I already know I am going to struggle with this but it is a challenge I am excited to accept and tackle. Now I must get on with the review!

It's been a while since Penney's launched their PS Love Makeup and Skincare range but I am relatively new to it. At the beginning I honestly didn't think too highly of it and must admit turned my nose up at it just a tad. I didn't expect much from the products and was reluctant to try them. Then one day of course browsing through the aisles of Penneys I spotted a red lip liner - something that is missing from my makeup collection - and thought "why not?". I swatched it and was immediately impressed, it felt creamy and came out opaque in one stripe. I'm a huge fan of using lip liner all over the lips for a matte lipstick effect and that's exactly how I wore this shade.

I can't fault the formula at all really, it is extremely comfortable to wear and suprisingly non-drying. It is much less drying than the mac lip liners in my opinion. However, the staying power is not as strong. That being said, it has lasted quite well on my lips over a number of hours. Overall, I think for €1.50 you literally cannot go wrong. Unfortunately there is no shade number or name but this was the only vibrant red I could see on the stand this day. I for one will most definitely be heading back to my local Penneys to try out the other shades to see if they can impress me as much as this gorgeous red has. Now for the pictures!
