Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
I most certainly went through a phase where I wore this foundation every single day for a solid few months and I really do love this foundation. I wore it to death in the Summer and loved the dewy glow it gave me - so much so that I seem to own in almost every shade! (Yano for when you're going out and your fake tanned, and then when you get a spray tan and you're uber-tanned! and then of course when I'm my natural shade of ghostly pale). I pulled it from the bottom of my makeup drawer again this month and haven't strayed since. This has a medium coverage on me and works great with my dry sensitive skin.
This product I have to credit to my dear friend Louise (who I have mentioned many times before on my Youtube channel). She is always opening my eyes up to new things to try. However, we don't use it as it is meant to be used and instead it works as a great primer. It's mattifying so it helps your makeup stay on all night. I love the way it feels when applied to the skin - like a cool gel - and it has the right amount of tackiness to it that allows your foundation to cling to it and set beautifully. It's outrageously inexpensive too.
Inglot Gel Eyeliner - Black
As for eyeliner - albeit a new addition to my collection I can't understand how I ever lived without it now. I got the Inglot gel eyeliner in December of 2014. It is so intense black that I never have to top it up during the day or night. It stays the exact same as when you applied it and the formula is so creamy and easy to work with it's just the gel eyeliner of all gel eyeliners! For a mere €15 you can't go wrong with this. Unfortunately I lost mine about a week ago and it hasn't surfaced since, it's a very emotional time! - but this is what it looks like.
Wet'n'Wild Lip Liner - Plumberry
For lip liner there has been one pencil that I have been using pretty much everyday or atleast the days that I'm making an effort with my makeup. This liner comes with me on all my nights out too. I think with this new big "Kylie Jenner" lips phase everyone has gone a bit lip liner mad and I'm no exception. This has been a favourite of mine for the past 2 months or so and again it is so inexpensive. I'm dying to get my hands on Mac's "Stripdown!" but for now this is doing the trick perfectly.
Mac Creme Sheen Lipstick - Creme Cup
I received this lippy as a Christmas gift. I had always seen people with this but thought it might be too pink for me but I absolutely love it. It's the perfect pinky-nude and actually goes really nicely with my Wet'n'Wild lip liner.
Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder
This powder was a recommendation from Youtuber Sharon Farrell, I heard her speak about it in one of her videos and had to try it out. I sure am glad that I did, it is a gorgeous fine translucent pressed powder that gives the perfect layer of matte-ness to wherever you apply it. Although I have had some great products from essence in the past I wasn't expecting too much from this and I was pleasantly suprised. My Mac MSF in light plus is a close second. I do love the finish my MSF gives but I do find it is just not mattifying enough for a night out or a long day of wearing makeup - this is where the essence powder triumphs.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I also received this palette as a Christmas gift and I have been using it everyday since! I can't believe how much I love this palette seeing as it is very pink toned - normally a shade I wouldn't use on my eyes. I find it so flattering and it's so refreshing to have a new urban decay palette where all the eyeshadows are in perfect condition (my naked 1 has definitely seen better days!). My favourite shade is 'nooner', I find it to be the perfect crease colour with 'buck' from the naked 1 as a transition shade.
Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze Gradual Tan
I have been very consistent with my fake-tanning lately, something I am strangely proud of! I always get lazy and end up being extremely pale with no foundation to match so keeping up with my routine has been made a lot easier with this product. It's the perfect thing to use after I have used the bronzing mousse the night before and it has developed into a dark colour, I use this to keep the colour in between mousse applications. This is one of my favourite tanning brands in general - I find the colour looks really great and natural and it doesn't come off scaley on my skin like most other fake tans.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - 08 Grand Cru & Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner - 64 Obsession
This lip combo is so gorgeous together I already can't wait for Christmas to come back around so I can wear it on the reg! I can't get over the pigmentation of these lipsticks and how comfortable they are to wear for a matte lip product. They really do dry to a super matte finish which is the look I was hoping for when purchasing this. Do you ever find that some matte lippys just aren't matte enough? I do, but this baby did not disappoint. I bought the lip liner because it was the closest colour I could find to match the lipstick and it works great with it. I especially like the shape of the lip liner as it goes well with the shape of your lips - and it's a wind-up one which I always have preferred.
ELF Cosmetics - Bronzer & Blusher Duo
This was a rediscovered favourite of mine over the past two months. I ran out of the wet'n'wild one that I had and I pulled this out of the drawer again. I forgot how much I used to love this product. Although it has a slight shimmer to it it doesn't show up super glittery on the skin. I find it works really well with the wake me up foundation and the two together give me a subtle glow. It has good pigmentation without being too much and it seems to be the perfect tone for me when I have a little bit of fake tan on.
House of Lashes - Pixie Luxe
I ask myself one question when I look at these - where have you been all my life? I love these lashes. Simple as that, I love them so much that I have extreme fear of losing them and bring the box with me wherever I go when I am wearing them incase I need to put them back in haha. These lashes are just beautiful on and are like no other ones I have ever purchased. I have always been one to think all lashes are quite similiar and that buying more expensive ones probably won't make too much of a difference - I was wrong. TOTALLY WRONG. I will admit! The quality of these makes all the difference - they stay on better, they wear better and are easier to clean. I will most definitely be buying from house of lashes again.
South Roll-Neck Knit Jumper
I had to mention this in my fashion favourites because I have literally been living in this jumper. It is sooooo cosy! I love pairing it with leggings or something tight on the bottom half to balance out the baggy-ness of it. It has seen me through the coldest of days here in Ireland and has to be one of my most worn items this Winter - fo sho!
Large Blue Tote Bag
Unfortunately this bag was purchased in Greece so I have no idea if there are any similar styles on the high street today but I really had to mention it because it truly has been a favourite of mine over the past month. I have worn it to death and it has become my new everyday bag. I love the colour of it and how it adds a pop of colour to my often monochrome Winter styles.
