Weekly Loves #2

Hello there again! We've reached Sunday again so it's time to recap on the items I have been loving this week. This week I even have a fashion favourite to throw in. Scroll to check out the pictures and find out exactly why I've been loving these beauties!

Left-Right:

1. Umberto Giannini Instant Beauty Leave-in Conditioner
If you watched my April Favourites video you will know that I have been trying to use much less heat on my hair and take care of it better. This product has been making me feel like I'm doing a wonderful job! I haven't tried too many leave-in conditioner so I can't honestly say "this is the best one out there" or anything along those lines. However, it has been doing a great job at leaving my hair silky soft and smooth. I'm definitely planning on experimenting with more leave-in conditioners but this is the one I've been playing with over this past week and enjoying it.

2. L'oréal True Match Foundation - Light Ivory (W2)
This is a foundation that I used to use back in the day. Way back! As in I had no idea how to effectively apply foundation to my face therefore any foundation pretty much looked the same (thank god I have developed past this stage!). I recently decided to give it another go as I noticed a lot of beauty bloggers/youtubers seem to love it. I kept forgetting about it because as we all know this product has been around for a long time now. I can honestly say it is my new favourite foundation! I'm so glad I decided to go back to it. It's the complete opposite to the types of foundation I would normally go for in that its more of a matte full coverage finish but for some reason I've been loving that. I usually tend to steer away from matte finishes due to my dry skin but this formula seems to work really well with it. It really does give that flawless effect and I can still achieve some form of the dewy-fresh look I normally gravitate towards with using highlighting products alongside it. The only downside I have found with this foundation is that the lightest shade is definitely not light enough for my skin on the average day, I'm almost always wearing some form of fake tan this time of year so the shade matches perfectly at the moment.

3. Sleek True Colour Lipstick - Mystic (Matte)
This lipstick has made my week! My friend Louise bought it for me as a gift and I'm so grateful - Thanks Lou! ;) . I have only worn it once but I have only had it a few days but it's just soooo beautiful. I really wanted to get MAC's Flat Out Fabulous Lipstick but it has been sold out for so long in all of my nearby MAC stores but this Sleek colour is very similar. I inserted a close up picture so you could see how gorgeous the colour is. The fact that it is a matte finish as well makes me so happy!

4. Blistex MedPlus Lipbalm

This is one of those products that I don't really consider a beauty item per say but it definitely contributes to my beauty routine. I wanted a really effective lipbalm as I've been wearing matte lipsticks non-stop lately and of course I need my lips to be super smooth and flake-free (gross).
This lipbalm has transformed my lips in a matter of a day and the best part is - IT SMELLS LIKE VICKS (AKA - my childhood). Please tell me I'm not the only one who loves the smell of vicks? It slightly tingles on the lips which I also kind of like, I know it's really working! I have been using regular nivea lipbalms but I feel like they only moisturise my lips for a matter of hours and then I'm back to square one. I needed something more heavy-duty and this little pot of medicated balm has been perfect.

5. Una Brennan Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil

This product I mentioned before in my January Favourites Video but after that I kind of forgot about it after that following week and only came back to it about a week and a half ago. I don't know why I ever stopped using it but since bringing it back into my daily routine I have noticed a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. This is such a luxurious product for the price tag (Less than €10). You massage into your face when it's dry and it feels like a mini facial. It really has helped with brightening my spot marks and even smoothing out my skin. When I apply makeup after using this it glides on and my skin feels outrageously soft. You can find this in Boots - that's where I purchased mine.

6. Penneys White Bag

I was actually so excited when I spotted this in Penneys during the week. I have been searching for little white boxy style bag for a while now and I hadn't found one I loved as much as this. This is the perfect little white bag to pair with any outfit and I really love the black trim detailing - it also has this along the zip on the top of the bag. I needed a little shoulder bag as all I seem to own are giant tote bags. Like I said I bought this during the week so they should still have them if you're interested in picking one up - for a measly €11! Can't go wrong ;)

So that is everything I have been loving this week, it might give you some ideas of what to try out or to put on your wishlist.
