1. Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray
As the weather gets milder and the sun is making more of a regular appearance I find myself reaching for hair styling tools (straighters/curlers) much less and using this little gem in replace. When I had really blonde long hair I was reluctant to use these types of product because the drying properties but now that my hair is in better condition and is shorter this sea salt spray has been working like a charm. I find that this product works better on short hair (at least for me) because it holds the wave better. Also it helps if your hair isn't too dry to begin with because with this spray can come frizz - as I have experience before with my uber-blonde hair. This gives me the beachy waves I desire this time of the year and all I have to do is spray it in my hair when it's damp/towel dried and watch it work it's magic. The only annoying part is the fact you have to let your hair dry naturally.
2. MAC Face & Body - N2
When I first tried this foundation I thought I hated it - thought being the important word in that sentence. The coverage is quite sheer and that is something I never knew I could love. Once I played around with it a bit I began to love the lightness of it. Then with winter came higher coverage foundations to brave the weather and now with spring upon us this has been my 'Go-To' foundation for everyday use. It's coverage is definitely buildable but something I really love about it is that you can still see my skin (and my many freckles) through it, making it look like you're not really wearing anything at all.
3. Simple Rich Moisturiser
Even though the weather isn't as harsh my skin is still as dry as ever, strangely enough. I have been previously using the Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser and just recently ran out. I always seem to have a simple moisturiser on hand so of course I used this while waiting to try out a new moisturiser and it has been working great. This is an old love of mine - it does the job and that's that. Being a super sensitive skin gal this cult favourite can do no wrong in my books.
4. Aveeno Skin Relief Shea Butter Moisturising Lotion
This product is actually a new discovery of mine. Within the first use I knew this had to make it into this blog post. Like I said, I have very dry skin on my face and my body is no exception. In particular, at this time of year when I'm trying out different fake tans and shaving my legs a lot more my skin can suffer but this moisturiser is tackling this superbly! It's extremely creamy and thick but it sinks into my skin straight away. It claims to moisturise skin for 24 hours and I would have to agree. So far it has been the perfect pre and post fake tan moisturiser and an all round fabulously 'simple-but-affective' product.

1. FACES Cosmetics Eye-shadow - ES39
This is literally a basic matte light brown eye-shadow but it has been the only thing I have been loving on my eyes this week. As I've been going with a much lighter coverage foundation I don't really tend to pair this with a heavy eye look. I've been loving blending this eye-shadow all over the eye and into the crease as well as smudging a little bit on my lower lash-line. It almost looks like I have no eye-shadow on but yet my eyes are still slightly defined. This colour actually reminds me of MAC's Omega eye-shadow.
2. Wet'n'Wild Matte Lipstick - Rosebud
If you watch my YouTube videos you will have seen this lipstick in my most recent video which was all about this line of lipsticks from Wet'n'Wild. This lipstick is also a perfect addition to the natural makeup look I've been enjoying this week. It adds a gorgeous natural pink tint to my lips and the matte effect gives the illusion that this could be my natural lip colour.
3. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick - Pure Zen
When I haven't been wearing Rosebud on my lips this the other option I've been loving. This is the ultimate 'your-lips-but-better' colour for me and it adds a subtle sheen that is perfect for the sunny days. I love a lipstick that you can throw on without even needing a mirror so this is a winner for me!
4. FACES Cosmetics Blush - BO15
Last, but not least features this beautiful blusher that hasn't left my cheeks all week. This is the finishing touch of the natural makeup look I've been wearing and I feel it compliments my skin tone wonderfully. This is also a colour that looks so natural like I've just been walking briskly and now I'm a little flushed. These blushes are super pigmented so I use a light hand with this product.
