1. Shirt Dresses
This is a fashion trend that I am so on board with! Throwing on a shirt and getting away with it being a dress? Every lazy girl's dream! The fact that it actually looks fabulous is just a wonderful bonus. I have really been wanting just a plain boxy white-tee look one and also a denim one. I love this Penney's one, it would look super cool with a statement necklace and sandals when the weather picks up!
2. Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polish
So I'm more than a tad bit late to hop on the bandwagon with this product but as the weather slowly starts to brighten up here in Ireland (and I mean SLOWLY!) I have been lusting after a cream highlighter to replace my powder and liquid ones. I have always preferred the finish of a cream product on the skin - especially during the spring time when the sunlight appears again and your makeup is that much more obvious if it's unnatural looking. There are two variations of this highlighter Polish (pictured below) and Gleam. Polish is much more of a white-champagne type of shade and Gleam appears to be more pink. I usually prefer a cooler toned highlighter on me so I'm planning on purchasing Polish (when the funds permit!). However, it may be worth mentioning that on the Topshop website Gleam has received better ratings!
3. Shorter, blonder hair!
While dreaming about my upcoming Summer travels and shorts weather I picture myself with shorter, blonder, beachy hair rocking a bikini surfing like a pro! Okay the surfing part may be a struggle but I could achieve the hair part if I was brave enough to cut it again. I got my hair chopped in December of last year and took about 5 inches off it - it was a scary experience but I loved my shorter hair. Problem is my hair grows super fast (I know, I know I shouldn't complain about this!) but this means I know have an in between medium length hairstyle which bores me and I need to spice things up again. I love these hairstyles below, Olivia's (left) is the perfect length and the beachy wavyness of the other look is exactly what I wish my signature 'do' could be. Just thinking about it gives me butterflies! It also kinda' just dawned on me how abnormally attached to hair us girls are?
4. MAC Costa Chic and Lickable Lippies
Yet again another Spring inspired product - nothing screams spring like a bright corally-pinkish lipstick! That is exactly what the gorgeous Costa Chic (right) is - I feel like it is my mission to have this bad boy in my makeup bag before the sun starts shining and I'm sporting a tan (most likely fake!). Lickable (left) - love the name! - is a light raspberry shade that just looks beautiful on the website and I can't remember if I've spotted it in store before (on my to-do list as of right now!). It looks like it would really compliment pale skin and add a little something to the lips without being too bold. I've been loving a more noticeable darker pink look on the lips recently, there's just something so sophisticated about it.
5. Boots Botanics Triple Age Renewal Super Serum
Okay this want is completely and utterly because of a magazine I read recently - most likely Cosmo. I always get sucked into those beauty reviews in magazines and end up wanting everything! I need to start combatting any emerging wrinkles now while my skin is at this stage. I read somewhere that from the age of 25 your skin is considered mature - which totally freaked me out. Therefore I am on the hunt for a fabulous skin care regime to help prevent any harsh lines for as long as possible. This serum got great reviews and is cheap as chips!
I could go on and on about the many things I have my eye on this month but these are my top picks that have floated to the top of my painfully long list. I hope this inspired you or gave you a few ideas for your pay-day wishlist :)
Thanks for reading,
Love Kensey xo
